Did anyone else see the Chad Brown interview on Saturday before the Silver Timber race?
He said about 5 times before the race how disappointed he was in the weight assignments and how he thought that at equal weights, the horse would be great and then he reiterated after ST won that at equal weights in the Breeders Cup that ST would be deadly.
Can someone please let him know that at 5.5f, that weight doesn\'t mean as much as at longer distances?
He sounded silly whining about the weights in a 5.5f race. You might have thought that it was the BC Marathon at 1 3/4 the way he was talking about a few pounds.
I don\'t know the exact translation of that weight at that distance but what are we talking about, maybe 0.5 pts in the TG scale? To hear him talk about it, it was the only thing that was going to matter in the race.
