question about delivery
« on: November 10, 2010, 05:31:10 PM »
I know when you purchase TG, you can print it off the computer. Is there anyway to have it delivered so I don\'t have to waste so much ink every time?

If you make a huge score off the TGs, it is not a \"waste of ink\", it is an
investment.

Thanks for making a post that does not involve Her.

Like anything at CD tomorrow?

We ship overnight but charge for it. You can open a UPS account (1-800-742-5877) or Fedex account (1-800-463-3339) over the phone with a credit card.

Get a laser printer, not an ink jet.

Alan is correct, you want a laser printer. Buy remanufactured toner cartridges and you will get about 90 - 95% of the performance of OEM toner cartridges at about 1/2 the cost. ALWAYS print in draft mode. Use grayscale too if your eyes aren\'t going bad.

An alternative that I am hooked on -- not because I am \"green\", but because I am \"cheap\": download the sheets and save as a .pdf to your computer...then view the sheets on you PC. The obvious disadvantage is that you have to have a laptop and lug it to the track, if you want TG by your side at post time. It\'s a hassle at first, but you might be able to live with it.

I\'m going out to buy one of those tiny notebooks for $300 tonight -- I\'ll let you know how the sheets look on one of these little PCs.

Buy an Ipad...really good investment if you download sheets often.  You can bring it to the track and it has great battery life.
