What a great weekend
« on: April 08, 2011, 02:51:43 PM »
Good luck to everyone this weekend.

We all justifiably complain about the state of the game but let\'s enjoy this weekend for what it is, an unbelievable collection of great racing from coast to coast with loaded graded stakes in every category of runners.

We can all agree that these kind of weekends are too few and far between but let\'s enjoy the ones we have.

I wanted to get that out of the way in case I go 0-4 tomorrow with the horses I have in at Keenland and I don\'t have such a rosy outlook on things.

Good luck to all

Totally agree. Best of luck tomorrow. I fear for you though if you are facing any Wesley Ward firsters. You know he is going to have his best out tomorrow.

James:

Good luck Saturday.

I do not mean to jinx you while at the same time discussing a topic which is
slightly verboten on this board, but Citrus looks like controlling speed
in his race tomorrow against a tough but paceless bunch. 5/1 ML, go get em Cowboy.

Thanks Richie,

Let\'s just say that I think Race Shapes favors us quite a bit in this one, I agree.

Plus, he gets the weight from Grassy and BOH and we will save ground all the way around.

He\'s training great.  We were going to wait to run him right in the Woodford on Derby Day but he was going to hurt someone if he didn\'t let him run and this spot popped up so hopefully he gets it done here and we move on to the First Saturday in May with him.

2 for 2, great start!  And Mott still can\'t win a race to save his life, when will the slump end?

Have to point out he won the first, too. Just getting warmed up for the Blue Grass.
