In AK\'s Derby win he\'s wearing a noseband that isnt seen in other pictures. Im no T bred trainer, but this seems to be new equipment.? Anyone?

Don\'t recall if it\'s new on AK but since they can only breath through their noses, the fig 8 keeps the mouth closed and prevents the tongue from getting under the bit.
Believe TAP uses it on just about every horse.
