Some Predictions

Well it was a fun 5 weeks. Some great posts, some laughs, some potshots. Bottom line is we\'re a bunch of people with a common interest looking to make a few bucks while playing the hardest and greatest game ever created.

So now we look forward to summer racing. Here\'s what I think could happen;.......Animal Kingdom wins the Secretariat........Ruler on Ice is the Haskell favorite........Dialed In wins the Jim Dandy and goes off the 2-1 favorite in the Travers.........but fails to fire as Alternation holds off Nehro by a diminishing neck.

Agree with your comments how this board has been quite entertaining over the last 5 weeks.  Good group on board here, but boy did we stink yesterday-everybody was wrong:

me-I had tunnel vision after a nice win on Shack and didn\'t recognize that he would bounce and that Barry Irwin knows more about breeding than I do.

jbelfior- the first and second place finishers were on his \"I would be shocked\" list.

covelj-stating the \"sheets don\'t apply to this one race\"  - actually the sheets provided pretty fair guidance as noted by Jerry\'s massive miss

migliore on TVG-softer turf will favor closers-cs silk and mission approved weren\'t listening

frank D.-well, ya know, his usual(sorry buddy!)

My prediction:  we will all continue trying to beat this great game, prbly starting with the pick 6 carryover Wednesday-are we sick or what?

After getting beat for all of that with Stay Thirsty my wife\'s family just kept coming over to say how sorry they were but I couldn\'t really talk because I was off to handicapping the Hol late double. They were amazed that I sort of moved on...
I don\'t think anyone can understand the horseplayer unless they are one..We have been calloused over by hard beats our whole life..Can\'t wait to dive in on that Pick 6...

I was awful yesterday. I thought the race smelled of a bomb, however my bomb bombed out. Never ran a lick. Awful pick.

Agree about the 3yo grassers, potentially the strongest we\'ve ever had. Might provide some good bets against the Euros when they come over, and many are bred to be late-- could be strong for years out of this crop.

Hated that surface. Short in Derby - no chance BG - you want to talk about buried form? He\'ll pop at a price - eventually. Get off if you must.

\"Eventually\" might as well be forever with Keaneally. The guy is always listed as a 15% trainer, but I\'ll be damned if I ever see him win.

I think he ships his whole barn to Atokad, and sweeps the card on a Tuesday once a month when no one\'s looking, just to keep his numbers up.

(Or maybe I\'ll just have to watch him closer.)

Will probably happen but AK and BS much faster on dirt, so far, unless you read them as just getting faster overall.

They are the two that we will probably be trying to beat so hopefully that remains true but both have developed a lot since their last turf race.I was just saying as a whole , this 3 yr old turf is stacked .
