Check out the monitors. The rain is really coming down. Things will be a bit muddled. Make sure your horses like it yielding (or even heavy?) today. Good luck to all.

Yielding. The storm blew through as fast as it came up. They just ran a race over the course, no problems really. If they don\'t get any more rain, shouldn\'t really impact things too much. Fingers crossed! Even the Euro\'s who came hoping for faster turf shouldn\'t be too put off. But I wonder about Gio Ponti; they wanted firm and they\'re not going to get it.

A friend just informed me, races 8, 9, 10, 11 ,12 are in Lane 5 their \"outer\" course which is generally in better shape during rain than their inner where races 3,4,7 are held. The further out the better the footing, so I really don\'t see the weather impacting things too much. For Euro\'s consider things \"good\" for what they\'re used to and for the US horses yielding is  most accurate.
