Today\'s win was very legit. Track wasn\'t particularly fast today, so 1:49 is race horse time. Flat Out came in off two negative numbers, including one earned on a dead rail, so he is as good as it gets for competition this year, outside of Tizway.
Not criticizing Ramon, but it does seem like HVD consistently is wide on all turns in her races. Ramon is one of the best at saving ground, but today was another 3w/2w trip, after a 3w/3w in a short field. She could have a shot in the Classic if she actually got a ground saving trip.
