Calder 7th on Saturday

I hit a tri with a 68-1 shot on top, a 6-1 shot for second and a 15-1 shot for third in a 12 horse field at Calder.  The $1 exacta paid almost $500 and I was expecting a $6,000 tri.  Much to my surprise and chagrin it came back under $1,500.  Did other sheet players whack this exacta?

My mistake - the second place horse was 10-1 and the 3rd place horse was 5-1.
