ROTW 3/3/12??

Last year we had the Big Cap as the ROTW.  Thought the data provided a great opportunity for a score. I had Setsuko and lost a heartbreaker, although the exacta was nice. Another big field for this year\'s race. Hoping JB can make that the ROTW again this week.

I\'ll be making my annual visit down from No Cal for the weekend. Been making the trip since 1991. A little different this year, as all my buddies had reasons they couldn\'t make it. So, for the first time in the 22 year history of P-Dub\'s Big Cap trip, I\'m taking my girlfriend/fiance (getting married in a couple months). If anyone is attending this weekend, wouldn\'t mind having a cold one with you.  Weather will be great this weekend, mid to upper 70\'s all weekend.

Looks like ROTW will be the Tom Fool, for reasons that will be clear. Big Cap is interesting but tough to get your arms around.

Thanks.  I also think the Gotham is interesting.  Big field and vulnerable odds on favorite in Hansen. Breen\'s horse likes an off track and gets the benefit of the draw and should make Hansen work early.  Kieran\'s horse (Side Car) and Tiger Walk both look interesting as does Roman\'s turf horse (Finnegan\'s Wake), although that one hated the mud in his one off-grass effort. Tricky;s horse is interesting.  Fastest horse in the race and ran a top off a 2 day layoff on the inner in January and has been off for 6 weeks. Tempted to toss but 15-1 ML on the fastest horse in the race with Tricky on the Aqueduct inner makes me tread cautiously.

My Key will be Side Car at 12-1 ML. I love his line and think he will run a new top Tiger Walk a must use underneath, and Maan and Dan and Sheila my other uses.

Looks like they are going to try something new and try to slow down Hansen  early tomorrow.  Taking off Blinks and he is on the outside so will most likely stalk the pace on the inside of him.  If he settles down he will probably blow their doors off in the stretch.  Gonna take some of My Adonis saving ground inside in the second flight but probably only for second.

Shame. I was kind of looking forward to your commentary on \"The Fiddler\".

We\'re taking a shot, he\'s doing good, the field isn\'t that much. The kid will evidently make the 110, too. Not the craziest.

I just looked at Emcee\'s last two races and he looks like a serious racehorse..Pace pressure on the inside in his last and opened up from the 3/5 fave who got a perfect stalking trip then rank and lots of trouble in the maiden breaker while on the rail, switched outside and runs by.  Think this one might be a beast stalking on the outside of the ROTW pick.
