Belmont Day Weather

Right now it is looking pretty good. Both Friday and Saturday.

Smarty Jones day it was grey and blustery and Funny Cide year downright wet. Could use a real sunny one for once!!

Just FYI for out of towners, I\'m now seeing updated extended weather forecasts with some rain on Saturday.  Earlier they were predicting clear weekend and now they are throwing in the rain cloud symbols.  It rained a lot yesterday (I saw in some places well over an inch), it\'s raining now, and there is lots of rain in the forecast before the weekend.

funny how love becomes a cold rainy day.  Funny that rainy day is here.  So hope not.

Rain is in the area today, tomorrow and even up to Friday night. It all looks like hit or miss depending on where you are. No monsoons but we\'ve had enough rain here already.

No shot of rain on Saturday, partly sunny and in the low 80\'s; too bad the race isn\'t on Sunday as that will be the really great day. Fast track and at least a good turf course for Saturday.

I\'d be more worried about the track maintenance workers going out on strike than the weather.
