heading to monmouth on friday and looking to use the tg #\'s but the card has 4 maiden claimers, 3 claiming races and a starter aloowance and an optional allowance. any benefit in using the #\'s for the maiden claiming races. any other monmouth sheet tips. Serey only has one horse that day but I will be hard pressed to leave him out regardless of how the horse looks. his horses fire.

I find opportunities in maiden claimers.  I\'m extra skeptical of favorites in these races.  If they are favorites it\'s because they\'ve done something recently that makes them look good, but by virtue of being in a maiden claimer they are less likely to repeat a very good effort.  I look for the lightly raced ones (or even first timers with decent connections and nice works) that haven\'t done great to move up vs. the ones that have already shown you a little something at this level.  If the favorite looks THAT good either pass and have a hot dog or try to find bombs underneath.  Good luck.
