Did everyone else thing the dq was justified?  After failing to be put up last week, now Joel gets taken down!

I watched the race head on a number of times. Lots of folks complained on twitter about this dq.

 When the 5 went for the hole it was there. He didn\'t \'create\' room by bulldozing. The 2 seems to come in and cause the bumping, then the inside horse came out a bit .

 imo the dq was bogus. there was no time to check out of that tight spot and the winner was clearly best .

 Considering the crap the stews let pass, this was really stupid. Inept stewardship has been a part of the game forever.

Tough call, agree hole was there and got tight.Think the average race watcher would agree with the take down, a more sophisticated one would call the whole thing insufficient to make any change.

A request for a live feed from the stewards room during the review of fouls was ignored by the Clueless Clowns, we tried!

for the record, no less an authority than the venerable Tony Black , was on Byk today, and saw it exactly as I described.

 I thought Steve came by here daily for enlightenment?
