This year's crop

So, having been properly chastened by TGJB and duly looking at the Pool 1 numbers, I\'m going to go ahead and say that this group looks a good deal faster than last year\'s.

By my count, seven horses have already run a 1 or better - which compares to five that went to the gate in the Derby.  More than 15 have run at least a 2, compared to 12 in the Derby, and over half of the 47 horses listed have a 4 or better.

Sure, Algorithms didn\'t make it, and some of this group won\'t either.  But with two rounds of preps coming, many of these should move forward.  Hopeful.

(P.S., if the Pool 1 betting interest selections had been based on TGs, it would have looked very different)

I took a small shot on My Lute, and a slightly bigger one on Delhomme, they looked like the only significant overlays.

Turns out Delhomme is owned by the guy who bought Ragozin, also owns Graydar.
