I didn\'t look at GP myself today, was just informed Greg not only put up the $100 horse but made it a best bet. Wonder if the guy who took the Pick Six pool uses our stuff.

At ten cents 3k buys a lot of combos-- it\'s the equivalent of a 60k pick 6 ticket. Which is why it took so long to get hit.

Actually JB,right,30k combos, however there were 4.3 million combos bet, the winner had less than 1% of them with his/her $3k bet. If you follow the sequence, it may be the greatest handicapping feat ever.

Many of those combos are obviously redundant. And I\'m not saying it was easy. But the only race I went back and looked at was the 50-1 shot, and that one was extremely haveable. Everyone can see it in the RBR tomorrow.

True, but out of 1.1+million possibilities, only 1 had the winning sequence and a 3k ticket was probably not close to the largest single wager.

The $100+ horse should have paid about $250-imo, trainer ofer, jockey ofer, horse drubbed last 5 starts by combined 110 lengths,13 in his latest 14 days ago.His wayyyyy back Calder figs competitive but those ancient history when a horse races 4 times in 40 days and finishes no closer than 13 lengths.Guessing the winner saw old figs and tried to wake up the dead and did, $3.4million worth.

There\'s been some chatter here about GP being challenging because of very pricey horses who are hard to figure.  My totally unscientific, impressionistic take on this is that if a profile exists, it\'s similar to what you just mentioned -- relatively low percentage local trainers, at least at GP, with horses having competitive back figures, though not necessarily showing any compelling reason why they should return to them.  But, they do.
