Derby
« on: April 19, 2013, 05:06:04 PM »
Just downloaded derby sheets and I like Normandy based on sheets, not on trip. He is not over raced, looks to run new top especially at the distance. Sometimes these horses flatten out in the stretch but i would take my chances on that.  What I don\'t like is that he will be way out of it on a pace that may not be that quick having to find a way through or around horses. if this horse was a stalker with this sheet I would be placing my largest derby bet ever. Comments on his sheet would be appreciated. I know may like Orb. He has developed a lot and I expect a bounce. that being said he should run a 0 and will be right there. Of course tough to handicap the derby without post positions as well.

Here is a picture of Normandy Invasion arriving at CD a couple days ago (he is at the bottom).  I\'m not betting on a horse that looks this gaunt so close to the Derby, no matter how good his sheet looks.

Has never been a robust horse and his plan to get to the derby was based on his lack of physically.

Tap with Verranzano(see long white blaze) look careful at the different girth size.Ask Cov to comment on size of Verranzano while along side Falling Sky in Tampa Bay Derby.

Verazzano is one of the most well put together horses I have ever seen.

He is an absoulute physical monster, very big and all the right parts in all the right places
