It looks like there was an issue with his feet and they had some special plastic shoes that had him sliding around the track. Did anyone hear that he was going to be fitted with plastic shoes? Was there any announcement on the track? I would have wanted to know something like that before having a heart attack down the lane..

That was the reason Baffert switched to plastic shoes without toe grabs for the Charles Town Classic. Jockey Mike Smith said that Game On Dude slipped repeatedly during the Classic, which may explain why perhaps he wasn’t dominant as he had been in previous outings this year.
