Since I started this thread - I will add my comments - those who play this game are sucker\'s and have been for years - between the take-out and the cheating that goes on - over the long-term you cannot beat the game unless you get lucky and hit a very big exotic that you don\'t give back.

Furthermore as far as Jerry is concerned he is attempting to explain away figures that upset his apple-cart. Of course all built in excuses that can never be proved. Example if DOJ Loses - is it a bounce - the testing - the sloppy track - or maybe the number is wrong - For me my Dad told me the only guys who don\'t go broke in this game are the Bookmaker\'s.

P.S. Would love to see betting record\'s of all sheet user\'s (Thoro & Rags) - 80%+ loser\'s!

JTC,

I understand the mob mentality to pile on with the \"he must be using\" crowd, but there is actually a few days of top shelf racing ahead.

While reading about the owner who did not get a bill, from the trainer that did not know what the vet was doing in the stall, to the vet indicating he would not release his bill for his service ( what he did...) ... well i sort of got lost.

For a solid player like yourself, riddle me this;  Why aren\'t people posting about the Derby pace and its\' participants?  

I would think a top forum, (which this often is) forty eight hours out would at least discuss the pace and its participants.

Hell, a few well worded comments could be;  Which colt/ gelding can get the trip would/could be a help to some.  126 lbs. on some of these.. ten panels no way.    

One notable question; did Orb get a bad draw?  I think very bad but others may find some good in it.  

Thats what makes the game good, difference of opinion minus the take, not the ubiquitous prattle on drug usage.

My own unscientific method of trying to figure who\'s cheating is to look at the winning & ITM %, 1st off the claim from the alleged cheater.


Last 6 months - first after claimed from:

Maker   -  17% W & 57%ITM.  
Servis  -  23% W & 50%ITM
Ness    -  22% W & 49%ITM
Jacobson-  21% W & 47%ITM
N Caniani- 29% W & 43%ITM

I don\'t think it\'s about winning as much as running new top or pairing a top 1st race off a claim.  As you could just drop in class and increase your win % hypothetically.  So it\'s the figure that maters.
