Best Derby Field I've Ever Seen
« on: May 02, 2013, 06:13:30 AM »
It seems year after year there\'s gripes about how it\'s such a weak 3yo class.  Well after looking over the TG sheets this morning I can personally say, without a doubt, this is the finest group of 3 year olds I\'ve ever seen.  We are looking at one hell of a race.

Yeah, just like DoJ ran the fastest race that Thoroughbred has EVER run.

Will next years crop be better than this one, since horses get so much faster every year?

Falling Sky

Ill give you 1-14 with him.  If he finishes 15-20 I win.   I think that would be a good prop bet.

I don\'t bet with strangers over the internet but I think you\'re a solid dog with that prop.

Well also just out of sheer Ky Derby madness, there will be plenty of unexpected X\'s.

DOJ has run the fastest number from a figure standpoint since TG numbers have been published. Maybe your just hoping to start an argument.

I think there are a few horses that are very talented and fast and the rest look all the same number wise, which gives it the appearance of a great field.

I can\'t recall this many horses with tops faster than 2 heading into the Derby.  Might have to go back through the archives.

The year Giacomo won, which is why I\'m less than confident now.
