I thought he was suspended in NY.  I see he has one in the 1st race at Bel. on Sat. What gives?  Does anyone know his status?  Ah, back to Belmont, Jacobson, Rudy, ex Dutrow and Ness horses all in the same race.

“I’m trying to play by the rules, the doctors are telling me it’s not supposed to come up” positive, Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez said he wants the state – at his expense – to test all the horses that ran at Aqueduct in the month of April to make sure that he is not being singled out.

“If I have to sell my house, I’ll sell my house,” Rodriguez said, referring to how to pay for all those tests. “I want to test everybody.”

Call his bluff.

I have to say, it seems damn unlikely he would continue taking shots with the same drug after getting positives, especially one that doesn\'t move horses up. Something\'s wrong.

He actually is on to something here.  How about NYRA (and all tracks) use about $10k out of every stakes race purse that is over $100k to pay for 48 hour or 72 hour round the clock \"guard\" surveillance like the Derby employed including the logs of those entering the stall, confiscating syringes that are used to administer any drugs, etc......

Wouldn\'t this protect the trainers as well?

Didn\'t Bobby Frankel install cameras in his barn over a similar situation?

He won two races today, and, as richiebee states in his analysis, he\'s most likely to win the 8th on Sat.

It could easily be done at NYRA by getting rid of the overnight \"stakes\", most of which get only 5-6 runners.
