Lighthouse Bay?
« on: July 27, 2013, 02:41:15 PM »
While Kauai Katie ranked as a stand out bet against @ 2/5. I thought Azpurua\'s shopper Wildcat Lily was obviously well intended. So at the top of the stretch I was gaining confidence.

Then Weaver\'s horse who has never been anywhere near the rail does a BoRail and out finishs all. Burst my bubble as well as crushing the bridge jumping Pletcher/Velazquez devotees. Many probably had Lighthouse Bay under and were dismayed to see her keep going.

Congrats to those astute enough to put her in the top position. And just when it looked to be a chalky day.

Jimmy Conners @ Mth wow a Kelly Breen 1st time winner impressed me.

In hindsight (I didn\'t play or have the sheets yesterday) that looks like a great pattern. Dead rail first out \'13, small break through \'12 top next out and then a pair with plenty of time for Weaver. No wonder Alan gave it out.

Allday congratulates George & Cindy Weaver on the first of what he expects to be many G1 wins.

OK Stevie Boy you ************* I\'ll add Weavers name to my list of usual suspects. Not that this is hard evidence of anything.

I expect Dutrows good looking 2 y/o\'s you bragged on to start showing up this week Mth and SAR.
