My reason for posting: going into the Whitney, I\'d never seen a sheet like his, ever.

Sheer number power.  

Yes, first time two turns, but thought 7-2 was a great price . . .

Great price?  Last week the concept of great was debated at length. That was in the context of a horse\'s mmm.... who knows.

Once again we are faced with the superlative. Great!

Price has no meaning, without some measure of value received.

What probability to win did you affix to Cross Traffic. .33 .40 .50 I\'ll concede a good price, bettable, if you believed he was 50% or better to win. Congrats!

However, my idea of a Great price is a horse I estimate @ .25 - .33+ to win that goes @18/1 or greater, Like like Nakatani on the #5 (Spring Bloom) in the 7th at DMR last Sunday.

So I\'m just messing with ya, because I didn\'t want your post to seem ignored.

We probably won\'t see Cross Traffic @ 7/2 again for a while.

Don\'t disagree with your core thrust . . . soul of this enterprise from straight-play point of view are horses with legitimate 15-20% chances of winning which go off >15-1 . . .
