Turf racing tomorrow at Pimlico

Gotta have it. There will be excellent Card if it sticks. One with a good race firing about every 35 minutes, much different than the 45 minutes on Derby Day. Also rained very little in the Hempstead and Jersey Shore area so holding out hopes there.

The Track was fair at Old Hilltop once it dried out and there was only one scratch in those last 3 major Stakes races. A hopeless bomb. There will be a few Scratches tomorrow. Has to be.....Ground Control is entered 3 different times!!!

Silver, gotta give you credit. The forecasts of rain and floods (both in Maryland
and here in NY) seem to have been exaggerated.

As to turf racing, thats good news reported by Tread re turf stakes, especially
regarding the Gallorette and the Dixie, part of the all stakes P4 which ends with
the Preakness.

In the Gallorette, Somali Lemonade has a number on off turf which makes her
arguably fastest in the field. She is coming off a win though and her MO has not
been to string wins together.

In the Dixie there is a horse with some very competitive turf TGs who is double
digit odds ML.[EDIT: 8/1 ML]

Ritchie the Weather Men did their job. There was a cold front diving down from the northwest and a rising warm front from the south. This is what produced some heavy rain in Carolinas and Virginia and HAD the potential to produce some Tornado like conditions. AND we are in that time of year. Better to be safe than sorry. Its probably a nice sunny cool day today in all these places where the storm has cleared through. My sliding doors are wide open.....

3 out of the first 4 are on grass to and 4 of the first 6. There will be scratches because horse are crossed entered and several in the Murphy look like dirt horses. Pletcher drops in with Camden Street. Went from Palm Meadows training, dropped in AQE for race on his way north to Saratoga for training. Now vans back in south of this. Pletcher said Stopchargingmaria thrived when she was shipped to Saratoga for training.....fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.....Ahhhh NO!!!
