Dubai Cup Review

The Dubai World Cup is a great event but a bad betting event. I broke even. Well not exactly, I didn\'t place any bets. I looked the card over and the Past Performances for many runners on the card were just plain spotty. Theres not much to glean from European P.P.s. Add to the mix the long trip, the weather, night racing and bio rhythm factors and I don\'t think the card is betable.

Despite all the above concerns Practically Perfect and Megadeath laid over the \"Classic\" field. Maybe if they were 3 and 4 to 1 I\'d of bet...lol.

What I do like about the Dubai Cup are the camera angles. I still don\'t know how they track the field like that from the rail and overhead. Its marvelous camera work.

Fallacies:

1. The Dubai Cup takes too much out of horses.

2. The Breeders Cup Juvenile Jinx has any rational basis

3. The two year old Champion Jinx has any rational basis.

4. Managing a horse carefully by skipping the B.C.J. and not running from October to March is the way to mine Triple Crown Gold.

5. George W. Bush is a Christian
