If this is old news I apologize. Earlier this week I heard an amazing story about Hard Core, the Arlington Million winner. He was purchased for 210K at Keenland and shortly after fell extremely ill. He survived major surgery where they removed a large section of intestines. According to the story the owners were considering converting him to steeple chase racing. I guess they won\'t be doing that now. What an amazing comeback for a fine animal.
