Saturday, Ozone Park

Check out Readthebyline in Saturday\'s 8th at Aq, a division of the NY Stallion
Series. RTBL goes first off the re-claim for Michelle Nevin. Look at the result
Nevin got with RTBL the first time she ran him off the claim. A major move up on any
scale, or maybe another example of a runner dominating a race on the front end and
being awarded a (possibly) inflated performance figure.

Lightning striking again? Do you believe in magic? How high the moon? Or maybe after
looking at RTBL\'s TG sheet, \"I can\'t believe what I just saw!\"

There are no inflated figures, just inflated figure makers.

No argument there... but knowing \"how\" a figure is earned is an essential part of integer \'capping.  bbb

Nevin has great stats and I\'m sure the horse will run good but how good? Not sure I would feel confident with 0 here and I think there are other with a good shot of running a top....the 2,3,4 &5

In his Oct 24th Handicapping Insights column, Dick Powell points out that Readthebyline was one of several horses that were subjected to a dead rail on the Widener Turf course, who took the lead and faded.  Today, Mike Beer points out that RTBLines win was on a golden rail.  And ace handicapper Chris Larmey has him as his top selection today, so it looks like lower odds than expected, and not good value.

Hi Billy,
For some reason this Fall at Belmont, there was not a single horse that went gate to wire at a mile on the Widener turf course and only Costenia won from post one. Readthebyline drew the rail two starts back, gunner to the front, and faded late. He came back at the same distance from post five and gunned to the front before tiring. For the record, I have him fourth today with Gridley Here on top.

I second that promotion.

Love it when the the price goes up (not down) when clear after a 1/4 and generous again on final price.

Fantastic work richiebee in the middle of a dead board period when pressure to choose a winner and views are as high as ever due to the limited number of posts.

Keep it up.  Hope you cashed!!!  As you told me once......\"well struck!\"
