hahahah, that is a good one. the race looked horrible. maybe the wind had more to do with it than i think. tapit caught up to them while under a tight hold. either they were crawling along, as you say, or tapit is the fastest horse ever....... still, i think one or two of those horses will improve big time off that race.

Did anyone notice how Tapit was looking around throughout the entire race? He had his head cocked to the right, looking at the grandstand through the stretch. I would say he was green, but I havn\'t seen any discussion about this. Two things to consider:

The Wood was weak, with a marginally interested hoss winning from way back

Tapit is just learning how to run and he could be a big factor in Kd.

are you still looking for the baffert tri in the derby? i would go out on a ledge, and predict a 18-19-20 finish out of him, but it looks like he will only have one or two in the race.
