Does anyone have any info concerning why he didn\'t have a race until 3/7?  He had 7 published works starting 1/17 and weekly after that before the race.  Of course it could just be TAP slowly building him up, but were there any \"issues\"over the winter?

The plan all along was for Carpe Diem to have a 2 race schedule going into the Derby. Owned by Winstar Farm, they used this same 2 prep format in 2010 with Super Saver and won.

The next time CD runs fast, relative to 5 others,will be his first time,nice pattern.So,Danzig Moon ran huge in last, okie dokie.
