Back to the Wood
« on: April 26, 2015, 06:31:49 PM »
I just watched Wood day races again.  Is it possible that the middle of track was the best part of the track for the Wood?  The 3 top place finishers were the 3 widest into the stretch.

This hypothesis seemed to be true for the 9th and 10th (Wood) races and a few other races.  However, there are also plenty of races where the inside horses did well in the stretch.  Maybe the wind dried out the inside part for a few races?  Anyone else thought about this?

And if this was true, how does it affect your opinion? (Sincere question, not sarcastic)

The Carter doesn\'t support your theory.

Good Luck,

You are correct neither the Carter or race 12 support this theory.

If the theory were true - that all 3 were helped by a bias - they become throw outs.
