In the lull before the draw

Two days after Mother\'s Day, I must confess that I was always lousy at writing the thank you notes that Ma said I should. But every once in a while I manage.

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the launch of Around2Turns, and if it were not for TGJB and a bunch of the stalwarts of the TG board, I would not have any readers, or a good outlet for reaching new ones. This latest post is just a formal \"thank you\" to JB and many of you all - Richiebee, Alan, Rezlegal, Frank D, Silver, David (who does not post but who many of you know from the Spa) and several others who have been nice enough to provide compliments when I do OK, and to look the other way when I \"X\".

Thank you all. I\'m very grateful to be a small part of this great community.

Happy Anniversary and keep it up. The heart and soul of someone who truly loves this game is best served when worn on ones sleeve.

If you ever get the turf club open? I\'d like to book Richiebee and the Heineken girls for the grand opening!

Frank, I\'m the CFO, but the CEO\'s runaway spending has blown up the capital improvements budget. Turf Club project starting to resemble the 2nd Avenue subway. Maybe we can have a \"groundbreaking\" ceremony this summer. I can probably afford the Heineken girls, but no way do we have the budget to handle Richiebee.
