Really??? Zayat said on Monday that there\'s a point where he steps in and that Mr.Z was definitely not running.

Good Luck,

Zayat has sold the horse to Calumet and he will be running in the Preakness as a Calumet horse.

Would be the worst sale of all time if Z wings it and takes the starch out of AF

Firstly, why would anyone buy Mr.Z for reportedly serious money. Secondly, why would run him back in the Preakness?

Purchase makes no sense on many levels.Gotta think Lukas sold Calumet some story.

Would be the greatest sale of all time if Z wings it and forces AP to earn it.

Or Has Calumet done anything right this year? If they\'ve had any runners this winter/spring I missed them.

AP earned the Derby. Enough of that garbage.

He stalked in the Arkansas race, he will do it again if someone \"wings it\".

I had Firing Line all over the place in the Derby, AP cost me a lot of money. But I\'m not gonna hate on him for beating me.

AP is high quality. Period.

I for one will be rooting for him, probably have zero money invested in the race, then I will enjoy the 3 week buildup and the excitement it brings.  And.....looking for a way to make a score in the Belmont.

I\'m done with this topic. Big game(s) tonight.

Just remember everyone:

Oxbow was only a G3 winner and was the second longest shot at 15-1 when he won the

Preakness 2 years ago for the same connections, Lucas/Calumet.

He had run 5th in the Arkansas Derby and 6th in the Ky Derby.

Bingo. That is exactly what happened. DWL thinks this horse is peaking and can win the Preakness.

They probably paid a ridiculously stupid price. He\'s lost his marbles. This might be the end of him.
