Kudos to Mike Repole who is not exactly known for exuding class!
He claimed 10 year old 19 time winner Be Bullish away from Jacobson and Drawing Away and will retire him to Old Friends retirement farm.
Be Bullish was a vet scratch on May 6th and the greedy Jacobson continued to drop him down the claiming ladder to 16K to squeeze every dollar out of this former stakes winner.

read that as well this morning, Frank. Article also mentioned that Drawing Away would no longer have horses with Jacobsen, but I thought he was a partner in the ownership side?
Not a well-like guy from what I read...

“If Mike Repole claimed this horse to retire him, I don’t see it,” Jacobson said. “I think it’s foolish. He shouldn’t be taking this horse away from the public. This horse is a real professional. He knows how to win. I guess that’s one less good horse I have to run against.”
