TC Trivia

1 horse has officially won the Triple Crown and the Travers.

Name him. (without looking it up)

Will AP continue racing this year?  Let\'s hope as new fans are surely wondering when and where he runs next. Could he show up at the Travers?

I\'m aware Zayats have control of his racing future but will they really keep running him?

Hope I\'m wrong, but I see no way he ever runs again.

I thought Affirmed finished 1st but lost on a DQ.  Must have been a horse from way before my time, like Whirlaway or somebody from that era.

Whirlaway is the correct answer.  Alydar was the official winner of the Travers after Affirmed was DQed with Pincay aboard and cutting off Alydar.

ESPN reporting AP likely runs in the Haskell, one more prep, and then the BC Classic at Keeneland.

He is flying to Churchill for now.

Not counting today, 46 days until Saratoga.

I cannot possibly imagine the mob scene at the Travers should AP run at the Spa.
God help us and I hope Steve Byk still has the rights to the deck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I\'m thinking no Travers for him but totally agree it would be madness and mayhem. The graveyard of champions and seems you need to prep in Jim Dandy to do well.  I think Haskell and then another short break.  An interesting question is where to prep for BC should he stay healthy.  Do they bring him back to CA for final prep?
