This is an interesting race to pick a trailer because there really aren\'t any pure speedballs and the horses that are fastish have figures to stand behind. Theres certainly a fair number of clunk up types but picking the trailer is really quite a chore.

I tend to think horses like St. Averil on health and Minister Eric on unknowns are likely trailers. Trouble will be a factor. If Rion Hart had to overcome a bad break he could go last. Its hard to say.

I\'m voting for St. Averil, even though down the road I think he could be a good horse.

I considered Action This Day. My problem seeing him as a trailer is that he saves energy for a part of the race. There are those that said the BC Junenile was the weakest bunch of colts ever and that the Mandella perfecta tandem closed into a race that fell apart. I think he\'s too good a trainer to allow it but on accomplishments this year you could make a case for a Mandella basement perfecta.

I think the rail pretty much burried Limehouse. He\'ll be all done by the far turn

I\'ve been touting LIMEHOUSE as a possible bomb that could sneak into the exotics, especially if they could come from slightly off the pace. Post #1 pretty much takes care of that idea. He\'d be better off if he had no speed.

I see some POLLARD\'s VISION posts in here today. He would definitely have to run his lifetime best to have any chance. He probably will lay 4-5 off the pace and try to haul them in on the far turn. Not sure he\'s got the turn of foot to do it....wet would definitely help.


OAKS QUESTION: Does anyone else think that ASHADO is a standout in the Oaks?? Thoughts??? Oaks sleepers???
