Belmont 7th race JULY 8
Just a quickie, How come Ice cutter has the Same TG figure in his last 2 races (BOTH 6)? , when he ran so much better in his previous race when he closed . His time was was almost a full second faster in his previous race. Track variant was similar

Good question. You\'d think the number 2 back would be better given the wide trip and the more outside post. My guess is their variant isn\'t what you think it is. The last race was ridden up front and the other from behind, could that have anything to do with it?  Only a 3 length difference soo...? I hope somebody answers your question.

The last race did get the !, which usually comes out for wide trips, but occasionally for a race that TG has a lot faster than it appears.

Don\'t know what \"better\" means, and don\'t know whose variant you used, but it wasn\'t ours. Track was 4 points slower for the second one, despite adding a lot relative to the other two dirt races on the day.

Better means faster, used the Racing forms variant (23 and 24)
