Arlington Day of Racing

Since this is one of the few days of real racing that we have in Chicago I\'m compelled to post a couple of picks.

Race 7)

5-AZ Ridge is 20-1 in the ML, figures to be close and is as fast as any of these.
5-7-11 exacta/tri box

Race 9)

2-Watsdachances is 10-1 and will be close.  Close is good at Arlimgton.
2-3 exacta box

Race 10)

Arlington Million looks chalky, box 2/4 but as Frank D would say \"Don\'t bet the deli to win a pickle,\"

The weather will be hot and humid.  The poly track has favored close up and inside pretty much the entire meet.  Turf has been similar in that deep closers haven\'t faired too well but the horses have been cheap which might factor in.

Looks like the dq bailed you out. Nice exacta. Unfotunately it cost me my pick 3 and knocked me out of the pick 4.

Lady Luck is on your side!!!  Last week you posted a 5-1 winner at Saratoga no one acknowledged and DQ\'ed into a win(?) and an exacta today.  

Can\'t believe you didn\'t use The Pizza Man as a Chicago guy.  I had no money invested in the race but I do want to use this opportunity to say....

Mr. Ramsey, Start worrying about your own horses and not everyone else\'s.  You probably looked down on The Pizza Man b/c he is an Illinois bred.  \"Huge mistake\" to run in the Million you say....great handicapping Ken, great handicapping.

Thanks Fairmount1, it never hurts to get a lucky one in there.  It poured right before the million which may have helped the Pizza Man but he did win convincingly.  He had back numbers but I was concerned that he would need around a 3 point improvement to win and usually 6 year olds with class are pretty consistent on the turf.  Of course that\'s just an opinion.  Congrats to his connections, it\'s a nice win for Illinois breeding or what\'s left of it.
