Saturday seminar:
The \"play against opinions were solid. Did not like The Chad Brown #1 in the 3rd and was very positive on the runner up. In the 8th, was also opposed to Chad,s Takeover Target. In the 11th was against ML favorite and 2nd choice Eastern Belle.

His \"likes\" that did well were chalky. By default, the 7 in the first, the very fast #3 in the 4th. Also felt Liam was too strong in Woodward. The price opinion
Were NonnA in the Saranac blown up by fast pace. There were no other super strong opinions. Two days left.

Back yard was honored by the presence of 2 Pulitzer Prize TG degenerates in Topcat and Magic. Uncle Bill forgot his alarm clock and took a nice siesta.
When awake, Uncle Bill entertained with an array of stories from prehistoric times.
Frank D was absent.
Most of backyard gang modestly ahead early and gave away some with Non
Overall, a pretty \'neutral day\' at the windows.

As I sit here in the DoubleTree hotel in South Bend wondering why I woke up so early - game was great if you were an ND fan (but I must say TX fans showed up in droves - extra tix I thought I\'d easily sell didn\'t happen, blame it on the extraordinary heat).

I digress - my thoughts on today\'s late pik 4:

SAR Race

Chad has a good one running 3rd out, but unfortunate post.  Irad takes the mount and both are hoping to win titles (each).  Hot TRs on the 7,10.  going just 3 deep 11,2,7.  I think the 7 is at least 1/2 pt better today.

SAR Race 9)

Another where the Tr or JK is going for the title - # 8.  See that one 1/2 pt behind the 11. 4 also fairly in that speed zone - again 3 deep 11,8,4

SAR Race 10

First dirt sequence in late pik 4, and a stakes sprint.  Most interesting. # 10 is fastest by 2 pts, however has only an average chance to run a < 2 today.  the best chance to beat him is # 9 - this time it\'s both JK & TR going for the title.  If 10 doesn\'t fire, it\'s a 3 horse race with 3,6,9 fairly close to run 3+ fig today.6,9 are the title contenders ending tomorrow.  I\'ll use all 4 in the pik 4 (which has now become a 50 cent pik 4).  And in this race alone, I\'ll punch the 8 horse under those 4 in EX, and bottom of a $1 tri as well - Stall improving & again a connection going for title honors.  Then again, maybe i put him in is a SCR develops.  Nope, going to keep in in as longshot since it\'s the owner who is going for the title.

SAR Race 11 (finale)

# 1 is TR/JK going for the title, & less than 2 pts within # 2 who appears fastest, but just by 1.5 pts today.  splitting those 2 today look to be the 8 & 9.


It\'s $90  to go 3x3x5x4...if you include the longshot int he stakes.

*Frank texted me a photo of Uncle Bill catching a conditioning nap under a
tree in the backyard. Been there done that. I texted back to Frank that the 40
day meet takes its toll on everyone. I think the six day a week Saratoga grind
must be tough on the every day players and the backstretch workers; despite
this (and I might discuss later) I think the addition of at least another 10
racing days is inevitable.

Some alarming absences by Frank, traveling far and wide, Vermont, Ohio, who
knows where else. Heard a rumor that Frank and Laura were out at Burning Man.
All T-generates appreciate the regular reports from the frontline from this
veteran correspondent; Frank has apparently taken on the responsibility of
creating and embellishing the legend of Uncle Bill. No matter how effective
Frank may be at turning Uncle Bill into a marketable brand, ain\'t nothin like
the real thing, and no visit to the Spa is complete without a few minutes with
Uncle Bill and a sip from the Big Red Spring.

By the way Uncle Bill, I am still waiting on the email about the energy
companies utilizing non GAAP accounting.

I hope you\'re feeling better and Let\'s GO Yankee\'s and Met\'s!!!!

I\'ve hunkered down at the fort for the holiday weekend in an attempt to right the ship. I\'m still trying to figure out how an almost 20K profit as of August 17th has sunk to a few boxes of ziti below the Mendoza line? Add that to having to work from Monday until mid day on Saturday (pro bono) to bail a friend out of a 600K job he mis bid (against my advice) by a mere 10%! = Frank D. being a pretty grumpy, miserable F#$%!!!!!

As for my T-graph reporting career? It\'s on a permanent sabbatical until this board returns to handicapping discussions, critiques and fact based opinions about races before they are run.

It\'s been on a serious downward spiral since TC season and the lack of activity as well as the nonsense seems to have peeked at this meet.
