Pretty laughable, right? Other than the whole issue that 100\'s of thousands of dollars are bet on these events.

Speaking of which, there was an on air discussion on TVG about how the stewards are tougher on Paco Lopez because they want to send a message. Seriously.

Wife and I broke up with the cable company 2-3 months back. Initially I missed TVG. Now I have found live online feeds for the CA tracks, and, even better, GP and NYRA have HD feeds online (catch up CTBA!).

Around the same time, I quit following a number of horse racing talking heads on twitter.

The signal:noise ratio is just skyrocketing around here.
