Wow! What an awesome animal! He looks and runs a lot like Tiznow. I look for him to be a major force next year under Howard if he stays in training. The Traver\'s definitely looked to be his coming out party. He fought like hell with SS from the 1/8th pole to the 1/16th pole before relenquishing....

Why don\'t they just say speed figure? Oh well, every interest ends up with their own lingo and slang- You learn as you go. Thanks for the props, Sandie. I introduced myself as a novice on the board, so everyone knows I\'m green. And to be honest, I like football sometimes too, but I can barely identify the roles of the team. Forward, running back, what? I\'m just rooting for my home team or the guy getting the touchdowns.
I just think it\'s so much fun, trying to handicap the races. It\'s the sport of kings made available to the masses-This board is great too- a lot of really nice people and very informative!

thnx girly.  As for me I stick with Baseball (go mets) and trying to learn this game.  Happy you are out here and after reading some previous strings, you seem to have the game down pretty well yourself !!  Wish me the same luck with the learn.

Yes, seems a healthy lot of interesting personalities and handicapping professionals out here, 4 sure. I anticipate this board comparing notes before the BC and a seminar would be super, TGAB.

Girly on a little funny side note my one daughter when we were talking about positions in basketball had a center, 2 forwards and 2 backwards. I just thought that was pretty funny.

Back to the original question, anybody know what kind of numbers he and Street Sense received for the Travers?

Now that\'s pretty funny, after all that.  TGAB, can we go to the REDBOARD room to find that information, previous speed figures?  Is there an way of asking questions, such as finding my way around this website, without clogging up the board?  And please someone answer the man\'s question, he\'s been patient enough.

The Redboard Room provides the previous day\'s TG product.

You\'ll have to wait for Grasshopper and Street Sense to show up again to find out what figure they got in The Travers.

thnx.  Any suggestions on how to learn the ins and outs of the game (reading materials, etc.) and finding my way around your site?  Don\'t want to ask too many questions and annoy people on here.  Any input is welcome.  Thnx to all.

www.ntra.com is probably a pretty good way to start, DRF and Bloodhorse have useful sites.
